We are seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer. You will help the team define the technologies for our PaaS, provision process and tools, how to scale, deploy, run, monitor and manage our products across all environments . You’ll work collaboratively with the product team to design our platform. Help automate and streamline our operations and processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, qa and production environments in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, install, operate and maintain systems hardware, software applications and Information Technology infrastructure.
  • Manage project deployment lifecycle, define requirements, research solutions, design systems, support testing and oversee live implementation.
  • Evaluate product requirements to develop total systems solutions within project timelines and cost constraints.
  • Design scalable and performant solutions
  • Oversee the testing and monitoring of applications and systems performance.
  • Provide assistance with systems planning, business information analysis and processimprovement initiatives.
  • Support resolution of systems issues, malfunctions or software programmingproblems.
  • Provide regular reports auditing our current services and latest changes, as well asour internal practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience with automation/configuration management using either Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform
  • Experience with a variety of software and hardware operating environments for virtualization and containers (VMware, KVM, Docker, kubernetes/openshift, Clouds( AWS and Azure ) )
  • Experience with a scripting language (e.g. Python, Perl or Bash).
  • Expert at troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile Production/ DevOps environment; constantlyadapts to moving targets.
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
  • Understanding and efficiency in collaboration, open communication and reaching acrossfunctional borders
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to translate complex ideas into simple solutionson paper.
  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken in Portuguese and English as well.
