We are currently looking for  Network Supervision and Control Engineer

Your mission:

Coordinating scheduled or forced maneuvers, locally or remotely, to modify electrical connections on the Medium Voltage Distribution Network. Evaluating and restoring the medium voltage distribution network, especially during moderate and severe weather events, demonstrating analysis and decision-making skills under pressure. Application of the Outage Management System. Demonstrating technical competence and adherence to safety procedures. Facilitating stakeholder interaction with the High Voltage Dispatch Center, Medium Voltage Customers, and Producers. Understanding Power System Protection fundamentals. Conducting Power System analysis, contingency analysis, and risk analysis. Utilizing renewable production forecasts for decision-making. Issuing maneuver guides for planned assets outage. Demonstrating knowledge of Grid Codes and understanding Portuguese Electricity System legislation.

What you’ll need to succeed :

Bachelor's or degree (preferably) in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Energy Specialization). Up to 3 years of experience in professional activity in Electrical Engineering. Availability for rotating shifts, including nights and weekends. Enthusiasm for exploration and management of networks and energy systems. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in the workplace. Critical awareness and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of English would be an asset.
