Financial Controller

We are recruiting a Financial Controller Technician for our Financial Department with the mission of:

• Control and monitor costs and all resources necessary to develop the organization's activity;

• Measure and report the profitability of the business model;

• Participate in the process of analysis and support for decision-making, based on models and indicators.

Functions:

• Prepare the annual budget and the medium-term plan, coordinating information needs, responsibilities and timing with the various areas involved;

• Analyze and prepare monthly reports, with relevant accounting items and financial statements, in terms of budget control, compared to relevant historical data;

• Actively participate in the monthly closing process of P&L and Balance Sheet accounts and prepare monthly management control reports;

• Ensure the validation and reconciliation of information with other sources and other internal reports in order to ensure adequate coherence of information;

• Ensure proactive management and monitoring of costs within the scope of Integrated Cost Management (GIC), namely through the preparation of control reports and monthly budget monitoring;

• Monitor agreements with third parties and suppliers within corporate standards, with the aim of controlling associated risks;

• Ensure the adequacy and updating of the current costing model in accordance with business processes;

• Develop several scorecards to be analyzed in a multidimensional way with the business model;

• Support the preparation of the organization's annual report and accounts;

• Produce supporting information for the various Committees.

Profile:

• Degree in Economics or Management, with specialization or Master's degree in the area of ​​Management Control (preferred);

• Knowledge and/or experience of the financial sector and similar functions;

• Knowledge of SAS;

• Good knowledge of Office tools;

• Good knowledge of English;

• Resilience and ability to work under pressure;

• Analytical and numerical capacity;

• Capacity for innovation/creativity;

• Good interpersonal relationships and a taste for teamwork;

• Proactive attitude in managing the risks inherent to day-to-day activities.
