Eletrical Engineer

The Lakhani Group, a prominent hotel development and construction company in Lisbon, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As we continue to deliver complex hotel construction and refurbishment projects in partnership with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, we are looking for a professional who can contribute to the success of our electrical infrastructure across large-scale projects.

• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for hotel construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  
• Conduct site assessments and evaluate electrical requirements for both new builds and refurbishments.
  
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, wiring, and systems.
  
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure electrical plans align with overall project designs and timelines.
  
• Perform regular inspections and tests to ensure electrical systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
  
• Prepare detailed reports, technical drawings, and documentation for electrical plans, schematics, and specifications.
  
• Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international electrical codes and standards.
  
• Manage energy consumption, recommend cost-saving measures, and implement sustainable energy solutions.
  
• Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team during project execution.
  
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source electrical materials and equipment at competitive prices.
  

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  
• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in large-scale construction projects (preferably in the hospitality or hotel sector).
  
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, installation, and maintenance.
  
• Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards in Portugal.
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software for creating electrical schematics and blueprints.
  
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in complex electrical systems.
  
• Excellent project management and organizational abilities, with attention to detail.
  
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.
  
• Experience with energy-efficient technologies and renewable energy solutions is a plus.
