Role Overview:

We are seeking a backend developer/devops engineer with deep technical expertise to lead the development and maintenance of our tutoring platform's backend infrastructure. You will tackle various technical challenges and ensure a robust and scalable platform for our users.

Technical Requirements:

Dedicated Server Infrastructure Management:

Proficiency in managing dedicated server infrastructure:

Experience in provisioning and configuring dedicated servers from providers such as OVH, Hetzner, or similar to host Django applications.

Ability to set up and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure dedicated server-based systems to support Django backend applications.

Knowledge of automation tools for infrastructure provisioning:

Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Chef, specifically for deploying and configuring Django backend servers.

Experience in creating and managing configuration management scripts tailored for Django backend environments on dedicated servers.

Security Implementation:

Implementation of robust security measures for dedicated server environments hosting Django applications.

Knowledge of Django security best practices and ensuring secure configurations at the server level.

Monitoring and Logging:

Implementation of monitoring and logging solutions tailored for dedicated server environments hosting Django applications.

Experience with tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or similar for server monitoring, with specific configurations for Django application monitoring.

Backup and Disaster Recovery:

Proficiency in setting up backup and disaster recovery solutions for dedicated servers hosting Django applications.

Experience in implementing backup strategies for Django data and conducting recovery drills to ensure minimal downtime.

Networking Configuration:

Knowledge of networking configurations for dedicated server setups hosting Django applications.

Ability to configure and optimize network settings to ensure optimal performance and security for Django backend services.

Experience with Virtualization Technologies:

Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as KVM or VMware for dedicated server environments hosting Django applications.

Experience in setting up and managing virtualized instances to host Django backend services efficiently.

Scripting and Automation:

Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or similar for automation tasks specific to managing Django backend environments on dedicated servers.

Ability to automate routine tasks related to Django application deployment, configuration, and maintenance on dedicated servers.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Proven track record in developing and managing complex backend systems.

Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

Familiarity with educational technology and e-learning systems preferred.
