Job Description

As an Atlassian Sales Engineer , you will be a key technical and sales expert, bridging the gap between our customers and our Atlassian solutions. You will work closely with both the technical and sales teams to drive the Atlassian System of Work adoption by providing technical expertise, tailored demonstrations, and own the Atlassian sales process.

Solutions Expert: Master the Atlassian product suite, including Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, and other tools, to provide expert technical guidance to customers. Pre-Sales Activities: Conduct technical demonstrations and presentations, adapting them to the specific needs of each customer, and assist the sales team by answering technical questions and crafting professional services proposals. Sales Activities: Manage the complete sales cycle for Atlassian licensing, from initial qualification to closing deals, and collaborate with the sales team to expand Devoteam and Atlassian's market presence. Trusted Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them on Atlassian licensing options, and helping them choose the best-fit products and apps to meet their specific needs and budget. Customer Partnership: Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor and problem solver.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience in pre-sales or technical customer support roles, ideally with a focus on Atlassian solutions. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Atlassian ecosystem, including integration with other tools, as well as Agile and DevOps practices. Communication Excellence: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and internal teams, adapting technical language to different audiences. Presentation Skills: Experience in conducting technical presentations and demonstrations for customers, conveying confidence and knowledge. Consultative Mindset: Ability to understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions that add value to their businesses.
