Senior Data Engineer

Skills
  • Design, build, and manage data pipelines for data structures encompassing data transformation, data models, schemas, metadata, and workload management.
  • Implement complex, scalable, and robust ETL/ELT processes.
  • Ensure the architecture supports data lineage to maintain the history of data flow and transformations.
  • Work on data streaming projects, dealing with real-time data processing.
  • Collaborate with other teams to build solutions for data ingestion, data cleansing, and data aggregation.
  • Develop and maintain data dictionary and classification to document data lineage, and to provide users with definitions, dependencies, and sources of data.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Pentaho Data Integration and Airflow.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Data technologies and related tools.
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify opportunities for data acquisition and new uses for existing data.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing environment, and multi-task
  • Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory)
