🔎 We are looking for a NOC Specialist


Responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor the performance and availability of network infrastructure, servers, and telecommunications links through centralized monitoring platforms
  • Interpret, analyze, and triage alerts generated by network monitoring tools
  • Perform routine connectivity checks and preventive validation activities
  • Register, classify, and perform initial troubleshooting of network and connectivity incidents
  • Identify and isolate network issues such as hardware failures, link saturation, routing problems, and service disruptions, applying documented mitigation procedures and workarounds
  • Escalate complex incidents to Network Engineering (L3), Security Operations (SOC), or external vendors/providers while ensuring proper ticket follow-up
  • Act as the primary point of contact during Major Network Incidents, coordinating communications across internal teams and stakeholders
  • Provide timely and clear incident status updates throughout the incident lifecycle
  • Ensure accurate shift handovers, guaranteeing continuity of operations and incident ownership
  • Follow operational runbooks and standard operating procedures to resolve alerts and incidents
  • Maintain and update operational documentation, network diagrams, and knowledge base articles
  • Track infrastructure availability, response times, and SLA metrics to support operational reporting and continuous improvement


Requirements:

  • Experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar IT Operations environment
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and the OSI model (Layers 1–4)
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing/switching concepts (BGP, OSPF)
  • Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds, Datadog, Grafana, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with network troubleshooting tools and commands, including ping, traceroute, mtr, nslookup, and tcpdump
  • Experience using ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management
  • Basic understanding of network security concepts, including Firewalls and VPNs
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to prioritize incidents in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent English


Nice to have:

  • Experience working in 24/7 operational environments with shift rotations
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices
  • Experience supporting telecommunications or enterprise network infrastructures
  • Basic scripting or automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
  • Networking certifications such as CCNA, Network , or equivalent
  • Experience working in international and multicultural environments
  • Proactive mindset with a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement

Work Model: Hybrid

Experience Level: Mid-Senior (2-3 years)
