Your mission will be... We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant to support the People & Organization (PAO) Team within the SHERPA X transformation program. The role focuses on Payroll and Concur (Travel & Expense) processes, ensuring seamless integration, system configuration, and operational stability within the SAP S/4HANA (S4P) landscape. The consultant will contribute to global process harmonization, system implementations, and ongoing support activities, working closely with international stakeholders across IT, HR, Finance, and external providers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Processes & Integration Support end-to-end payroll posting processes within SAP S/4HANA Configure and maintain symbolic accounts (e.g., wage type mappings) and G/L account determination Ensure proper functioning of payroll interfaces and integration flows (e.g., file-based integration, AIF/PI) Analyze and resolve incidents, defects, and change requests related to Payroll 2. Concur (Travel & Expense) Integration Support SAP Concur integration with SAP S/4HANA Configure and maintain expense types, tax codes, cost object mappings, and integration logic between Concur and SAP Ensure alignment with global standards and country-specific requirements Support implementation, rollout, and stabilization of Concur processes 3. Project & Release Management Support Participate in SHERPA X releases and implementation cycles Contribute to deployment preparation and post-go-live support Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones 4. Stakeholder Collaboration & Support Collaborate with HR and Finance stakeholders Work with global process owners Ensure effective communication and coordination across global teams Essential Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP consulting roles Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA (FI/CO) environments Hands‐on experience with Payroll integration and financial postings Experience with SAP interfaces (e.g., AIF, middleware solutions) Fluent English (written and spoken) Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) and HR master data structures and integration with Finance Payroll‐to‐Finance integration processes, preferably in global or outsourced environments Experience with symbolic account configuration and G/L account determination SAP Concur integration and configuration Interface technologies such as SAP AIF, PI/PO or similar What Will Help You Succeed Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities Ability to work in a global, cross‐functional environment Proactive, structured, and solution‐oriented mindset What Will Make You Stand Out Experience with SAP Signavio or process modelling tools Workday or other HR systems integration SAP Basis authorisations SAP Tax configuration Knowledge of agile methodologies and release‐based delivery models What You'll Gain Opportunity to work in a global transformation program (SHERPA X) Exposure to end‐to‐end business processes across multiple countries Collaborative, international working environment Involvement in innovative digitalisation and SAP S/4HANA initiatives
