About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Lawyer with strong expertise in Public Procurement Law and Corporate Law (Societary) to strengthen our Legal & Corporate Affairs team. With 6–7 years of professional experience, you will play a key role in providing strategic legal guidance, ensuring compliance, and supporting the company in high-impact legal and governance matters. Experience in Corporate Governance will be considered a significant advantage, as you will be involved in advising and supporting decision-making processes at management and board level. Key Responsibilities Provide expert legal advice on Public Procurement Law (Contratação Pública), supporting tender processes, contract drafting, and execution. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and corporate agreements with a focus on risk management and compliance. Support the company’s corporate governance framework, including shareholder relations, board procedures, and regulatory requirements. Advise on corporate law (direito societário) matters such as incorporations, restructurings, and statutory changes. Ensure continuous monitoring of legislation and regulation relevant to the business. Coordinate with external counsel, auditors, and regulators when required. Develop and enhance internal legal policies, procedures, and compliance structures. Requirements Law degree from a reputable university; postgraduate or master’s in Public Procurement Law or Corporate Law is a plus. 6–7 years of experience in law firms or as in-house counsel, with a focus on public procurement and corporate law. In-depth knowledge of Contratação Pública and Direito Societário. Knowledge and experience in Corporate Governance will be highly valued. Member of the Portuguese Bar Association in good standing.
