ABOUT THE JOB We are looking for a Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineer specialized in tunnel ventilation to join the team of Infrastructure Technical Area at our Madrid offices. Your responsibilities will include: Design and calculation of mechanical ventilation and HVAC systems. Coordinating with other disciplines during the various phases of project design and construction. Developing engineering documents such as design reports, calculation reports, schematic diagrams, single-line diagrams, layout plans, etc. Communicating and coordinating with the BIM/CAD modeling team. Preparing data sheets and technical specifications for equipment, including contacting suppliers and vendors. IDOM offers... Have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technologies, or Aeronautical Engineering Have 5 to 10 years of experience in technical offices designing this type of installation (axial/centrifugal fans, ventilation stations, air handling units, ducts, grilles, silencers, dampers, etc.). Experience in tunnel or infrastructure projects is a plus Are proficient in using calculation and simulation tools for aerodynamics/CFD (FDS, Ansys Fluent, Camatt, IDA Tunnel, etc.) Are used to working in a BIM environment Are a team player with technical excellence.
