At Smart, we’re looking for a Backend & API Developer to join our technical team and help design, build, and deliver high-quality backend services and APIs that power global, data-driven integrations. What it takes to be a SMART Backend & API Developer: Proven experience in backend development using .NET (C#) Strong understanding of Azure API Management (APIM) Solid experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs Familiarity with Azure cloud environments and CI/CD practices Knowledge of API security, versioning, authentication, and performance optimization Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Application Insights, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, etc.) Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Good communication skills in English — oral and written
