Senior Java Software Engineer – World-Leading Tech Company | Hybrid (Porto)Location: Central Porto (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)Salary: €60,000 – €80,000 + bonus, shares, and excellent benefits
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer to join a world-leading US-headquartered technology company developing next-generation enterprise software. You’ll be part of a global engineering team building high-performance, scalable, and resilient backend services that power the company’s core platform.
What You’ll Do
- Work as part of an Agile team building scalable, highly available core platform services.
- Take ownership of requirements analysis, design, and architecture.
- Apply performance and scalability best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with product teams and engineering leaders across global locations.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of professional server-side development experience.
- 4+ years of backend Java development.
- Strong expertise with the Spring Framework.
- Deep understanding of multithreading, design patterns, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
