Hybrid, Lisbon (2/3 days per week on-site in Lisbon) Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for AI assistants. • Build and optimize REST APIs ensuring secure and efficient data flows. • Collaborate with front-end teams to ensure smooth integration and consistent user experience. • Integrate AI-driven features to enhance support for helpdesk, HR, and back-office operations. • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement of backend architectures. Required Skills • 3+ years of experience developing backend applications with Python (FastAPI). • Strong experience implementing REST APIs and handling data integrations. • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Growth mindset and interest in expanding backend capabilities within an AI context. • Experience working with AI frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph is highly valued. Nice to Have • Familiarity with LLMs and cloud platforms, especially Azure. • Basic understanding of machine learning and AI concepts to support innovative integrations.
