About the Position: To support and respond to our needs, we are now looking for an Quality Assurance Engineer to join a dynamic team in the Porto area, under a full remote arrangement. What You’ll Do? Enhance testing efficiency while improving the product and customer experience; Take a key role in defining and executing your team’s automation strategy; Contribute to the design and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks; Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure high-quality releases in fast-paced environments; Analyze complex systems and provide actionable guidance on testing strategies and quality improvements. What we are looking for? More than 5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer; Strong background in both manual and automated testing methods; Ability to write and maintain test automation scripts; Working knowledge of development languages such as React; Experience testing service-oriented architectures and understanding data flow across systems; Quick comprehension of complex technical concepts and ability to provide immediate, practical advice; Understanding of solution architecture, including system design, data design, and data flow; Experience testing APIs (e.g., REST) and applying test-driven development techniques (BDD, ATDD ); Familiarity with version control systems like Git; Comfortable navigating Linux and automating tasks with shell scripts; Understanding of build and configuration tools such as Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible; Good level of English.
