Senior Software Architect – Join Checkmarx Checkmarx is the leader in application security, securing development from code to cloud. We serve >1,800 customers, including 40% of Fortune 100 companies. What We’re Looking For Hands‑on Software Architect to join our R&D Group and build cutting‑edge security solutions. How You Will Make an Impact Work within a cross‑cut architecture group supporting developers across product units. Partner with engineering leaders to develop a comprehensive architecture strategy. Provide technical specifications and define architectural approaches. Develop architectural POCs, research technical innovations, evaluate new technologies. Provide technical guidance, communicate implementation alternatives and trade‑offs. Design and implement improvements to existing products. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in software development and architecture design. Strong understanding of cloud‑native applications, AWS, microservices, and SOA. Hands‑on experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, Git. Expertise in at least one language: Java, Python, or C#. Strong communication skills with technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive stakeholders. Proven ability to analyze complex systems and suggest optimal solutions. Passionate about designing and building software product architecture. Eager to deliver code of highest quality and security, including design and code reviews. Preferred Experience with LLMs and generative AI.
