Join our team as a Senior Data Center Network & VMware NSX Engineer (Hybrid – Lisbon or Madrid)
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and support global data center networking and virtualization environments.
- Operate and maintain Cisco ACI underlay and VMware NSX overlay architectures, with a particular focus on NSX-T.
- Troubleshoot connectivity and integration issues between physical and virtual network layers.
- Work with VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, and other routing protocols.
- Support large-scale data center migration projects across countries including France, Germany, Switzerland, and Singapore.
- Contribute to the design, deployment, and operation of standardized data center architectures.
- Automate infrastructure deployments and operational tasks using Terraform and Python.
- Collaborate with distributed technical teams across Europe, North America, and Asia.
- Participate in technical assessments and provide expertise to the relevant technical teams.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in data center networking.
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware NSX, particularly NSX-T.
- Solid understanding of network architecture and interactions between physical and virtual network environments.
- Good knowledge of Cisco ACI or comparable data center networking technologies.
- Practical experience with VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, and other routing protocols.
- Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform and Python.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Fluency in Portuguese is required for candidates based in Lisbon.
- Availability to work onsite at least 2 days per week.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
