DevOps Engineer (AWS) - CloudOps - B2B Contract - Lisbon (initially 100% remote with a view to becoming a hybrid role) - Long Term Project Exalto Consulting are currently recruiting for a DevOps Engineer, this is to work for a global client on a B2B contract basis. The contract will be remote initially, with a view to spending a couple of days a week in the Lisbon office, further down the line. Essential experience for the role: • 3–5+ years in CloudOps, DevOps, or SRE roles. • Solid operational knowledge of AWS (EC2, RDS, IAM, S3, CloudWatch). • Hands-on experience with MongoDB in production environments. • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins). • Strong scripting ability (Python, Bash, or similar). • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Splunk, Grafana, OpenTelemetry). Desired Experience & Qualifications • Kubernetes operations (Amazon EKS). • AWS cost management tools and FinOps practices. • Experience with other databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Kafka). • Exposure to healthcare compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, NIST).
