Senior Data Engineer – Full Remote (Portugal) Project: Long-Term Migration to Microsoft Fabric We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a long-term project focused on a strategic migration to Microsoft Fabric , working with Databricks and modern data platform technologies. This role is fully remote within Portugal and requires strong expertise across the full data lifecycle, including ETL development and dashboard/report creation. Responsibilities Lead and implement the long-term migration to Microsoft Fabric, ensuring a scalable and high-quality architecture. Design, build, and optimize ETL pipelines and data workflows. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards, ensuring efficient data modeling and performance. Work with Databricks and Fabric as core technologies for data processing and analytics. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. Ensure best practices in data quality, governance, security, and documentation. Requirements 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role. Strong hands‑on experience with Databricks and Microsoft Fabric (mandatory). Solid understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and distributed data systems. Experience developing dashboards and reports with modern BI tools. Fluent English (spoken and written).
