Senior Data Engineer We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Inetum Team and be part of a work culture focused on innovation Location: Lisbon or Porto Main Tasks: Explore, clean, and analyze large and complex datasets to support business objectives. Design and implement scalable data processing pipelines capable of handling large data volumes efficiently and reliably. Optimize and fine-tune existing data pipelines for performance and stability . Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to identify use cases, formulate hypotheses, and design data-driven solutions. Participate in project code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Automate the end-to-end release of artifacts across multiple environments. Perform daily ETL job monitoring and take corrective actions in coordination with production and functional support teams. Contribute to maintaining the integrity and scalability of the data infrastructure , defining priorities, tracking progress, and ensuring issue resolution. Profile: Senior professional with solid experience as a Data Engineer . Expertise in SQL and ETL processes , with proven ability to design and optimize complex data workflows. Proficient in Python and experienced with data-oriented programming. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices in CI/CD automation. Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking, capable of deriving actionable insights from data. Strong communication skills – able to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Fluency in English (minimum B2 level) is mandatory.
