We build and power leading video streaming platforms for some of Europe's biggest SVOD/AVOD players (6play, Videoland, RTL Play…), dealing with 45+ millions of users. As part of our international development, we are looking for a Backend Software Developer for our new office in Lisbon. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES At Bedrock, we're looking for a Backend developer with a strong understanding of data management and processing. You will be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining the systems that make data calculated by our data science teams accessible to the rest of the organization. As an API Data Engineer, you'll: Create, test and maintain APIs for Data products Participate in code architecture discussions Force of proposal for the improvement and stabilization on existing code and tools WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 3 years of experience in creating APIs, preferably Python, but also Go, PHP, Rust Development environment: git, ci/cd, unit tests, Comfortable with cloud tools (AWS in particular) Optional skills: Notions of Infra as Code (Terraform) DevOps appetite (kubernetes, haproxy, monitoring) Good knowledge of SQL and databases in general Streaming and events (Kafka, Kinesis, ...)
