Design, develop, and operate a large-scale PaaS for containerized workloads, acting as the Azure Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the team; Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to plan and implement the technical roadmap for our strategic cloud platform; Build reliability and fault tolerance into the product, engineering systems that are simple to diagnose and fix. (Participation in out-of-hours support may be required); Streamline developer workflows by maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure through Terraform and GitOps (Flux); Guide and support the team by sharing technical knowledge, fostering an environment of performance and continuous learning; Implement and maintain robust security standards using tools like Hashicorp Vault and OPA Gatekeeper. What are we looking for? Extensive hands-on experience and expertise with Microsoft Azure in a commercial, large-scale environment; Strong experience with AKS and cloud-native tooling (Helm, Istio, Flux, Crossplane); Proven track record of managing and automating enterprise estates via Terraform ; Proficiency in one or more of our core languages: Go, Typescript, Python, or Bash ; Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (ELK/EFK, Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, New Relic) and a solid understanding of SRE/ITIL principles; Comfortable in fast-paced environments using Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA for diligent tracking; You display pragmatism, empathy, and understanding when interacting with stakeholders and developer customers.
