Financial Controller

We are looking for Financial Controller – Last Tour Portugal Office Last Tour is a sustainable and independent organization with a strong commitment to creating, building, and developing cultural and social initiatives that contribute to the well-being and development of society. We also promote and develop cultural projects such as the publishing house Liburuak, concert venues Wizink Center, Zentral, Crystal, and La Ribera, as well as the Bilbao-based restaurant Lasai. Last Tour operates in Spain, Portugal, and the Americas, with offices in Barcelona, Bilbao, Bogotá, Lisbon, Madrid, and Pamplona. Position mission To ensure the correct financial, administrative, and tax management of Last Tour's operations in Portugal, guaranteeing regulatory compliance, efficiency in financial processes, and transparency in accounting information. This role coordinates relationships with external entities (accounting firms, tax authorities, and banks) and oversees financial and labor flows to support strategic decision-making by management. Key possibilities Financial coordination of operations in Portugal (2 companies) Invoice recording and issuance in Odoo Accounts receivable control Processing of bank payments Preparation of financial control reports for management Definition and analysis of KPIs Tax analysis, recommendations, and financial solutions Management of the relationship with the accounting firm Management of the relationship with the Tax Authority Coordination of electronic payment systems and top-up points at festivals and events Food and beverage sales reporting at events Cash flow management Management of employment contracts Occupational health and safety insurance and coordination with occupational health services Payroll processing Special projects, including: Development of business plans and P&L statements Budget control and follow-up Attendance at meetings and official representation Securing regional bank financing Coordination with Last Tour Spain and reporting to this location Grant and subsidy management Required profile University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field Additional or postgraduate training will be valued, particularly in: Management control or financial management International taxation or Portuguese regulations ERP and financial management systems (ideally Odoo) Advanced level of Portuguese and Spanish, and professional proficiency in English (for documentation and interaction with partners or suppliers) Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools Experience in the preparation and management of European-funded projects Professional Experience Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in financial management, management control, or accounting administration, preferably in multi-company or international environments Proven experience in: Tax and accounting management in Portugal (VAT, corporate income tax, tax obligations) Preparation of financial and budget reports for management or senior leadership Management of payments, collections, and treasury Liaison with external advisors, banks, and public institutions Experience in cultural, music, or events sectors is a plus, especially involving cash flow management at festivals or cashless systems Previous experience coordinating small teams or cross-functional financial projects is desirable What we offer Immediate incorporation into a dynamic, creative, and collaborative team within one of the leading companies in the cultural and music sector Full-time, on-site position in Lisbon Permanent contract Competitive salary, aligned with the experience and profile of the selected candidate Occasional travel to the Last Tour Bilbao office Equal Opportunity Statement At Last Tour, we believe in the power of diversity and inclusion.
