The Industrial Engineer plan and optimize production layouts and processes with the objective of increasing productivity, eliminating wastefulness, reducing costs and ensuring quality standards are met. Education Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering or a related technical field. Requirements Knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement tools, FMEA, DFMA and production planning; 2 – 5 years professional experience in industrial environment; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Proactive, autonomous and flexible mindset, with a passion for technical excellence; Structured, results-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently; Comfortable working in cross-functional teams with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Good command of English and Portuguese (written and spoken). Job Responsibilities Perform a range of industrial engineering activities including the development and maintenance of labor routings and bills of materials. Perform standard technical calculations and prepare standard operation sheets. Monitor production processes and work methods. Collect, compile and analyze production data to identify opportunities to improve production processes. Develop plant layout, material flow, sequence of operations, method improvements, labor and cost estimates, cost improvements, safety awareness. Support new product implementation. Participate in and support LEAN manufacturing initiatives.
