About the Position: To support and respond to our needs, we are now looking for an Infrastructure Engineer/Architect to join a dynamic team in the Porto area, under a remote arrangement. Join a team of technology experts responsible for building and running an industry-leading platform. You will oversee and optimize mission-critical trading infrastructure, ensuring exceptional performance and reliability. Additionally, you will drive the efficient adoption of cloud-based services. You will collaborate closely with business leaders, developers, and network engineers to support the trading system and continuously enhance its technology. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical guidance and infrastructure expertise to the software development team; Work closely with the infrastructure team to support business requirements and ensure compliance with Group policies and standards; Automate recurring infrastructure processes to maintain consistency across a highly distributed environment; Lead the research of emerging technologies and define the long-term technology roadmap. What we are looking for? At least 5 years of experience in a similar role; Hands-on experience with Linux system administration (e.g. RHEL, SLES); Experience with OS performance tuning for low-latency applications; Knowledge of virtualization and container technologies; Work experience with server hardware, data center build-outs, OS migrations; Comfortable with scripting languages such as Python, shell, etc; Proven track record supporting mission-critical server infrastructure in production environments; Familiarity with provisioning tools(Ansible, Puppet) is a plus; Windows, NAS administration is a plus; Strong desire to learn new technologies; Good level of English.
