Senior Product Manager, Platform Tools

Cloudflare has been recognized for culture and innovation. About The Role Cloudflare is seeking a high-impact and experienced product manager to join our Platform Tools team. The Platform Tools team builds the platform and tools that enable Cloudflare employees to be as efficient and productive as possible when supporting and shipping products and features relied upon by Cloudflare customers. Users include customer-facing teams such as customer support, customer success, solution engineers, and other product teams offering tools on the platform. Available Locations: Austin, London, Lisbon. Role responsibilities and focus include defining and executing the product roadmap for platform capabilities that empower internal teams to be productive and deliver value to customers. Problems you may face include:• Empowering Cloudflare employees to solve customer problems quickly while reducing operational burden from rapid feature releases.• Delivering a secure, best-in-class internal platform for tools that enables engineering teams to build, use, and support their own solutions.• Balancing broad platform constructs with specific tooling requests to maximize impact on productivity and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Define and communicate the vision, strategic direction, and goals for Platform Tools initiatives. Develop and maintain a product roadmap that balances short-term wins with long-term platform investments and customer experience improvements. Develop a deep understanding of internal users and external customers to drive product decisions. Coordinate across product, engineering, security, legal, and support teams to execute the roadmap and deliver customer impact. Define metrics, establish tracking, and analyze product performance to identify improvements. Drive end-to-end execution and deliver high-impact projects. Qualifications Curious, customer-centered, able to learn quickly, creative, and able to work cross-functionally. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Data fluency or ability to work with data directly to support decisions. Engineering fluency or technical background to build credibility with engineering teams. Strong communication and ability to influence and build consensus across diverse teams. Understanding of Internet layers and related complexity, or willingness to discuss other complex domains.
