About the Role As part of the People & Culture team at Trustly, you will play a pivotal role in driving the People and Culture strategy EU operations. You’ll work closely with managers and teams to provide HR expertise, guide employee‑related matters, and champion initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience. This role will involve both day‑to‑day HR activities, such as assisting with onboarding, maintaining employee records, coordinating performance reviews. We are looking for someone who is adaptable, proactive, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment where they can influence positive change. Location: Lisbon office. What you’ll do Lead HR initiatives, including organisational restructuring, process optimisation, and people enablement programmes, to drive business success Employee relations: Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and concerns, escalating issues as needed, and helping to maintain a positive culture Administration: Managing and maintaining employee records, both physical and digital, and supporting administrative tasks Performance and development: Assisting with performance review cycles, coordinating training programmes, and helping to implement HR policies and initiatives Culture and engagement: Employment branding, supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives, and promoting employee well‑being Maintain strong relationships with unions, ensure compliance and have a good understanding of employment law Support day‑to‑day HR operations topics and give guidance on topics such as labour law, employee development, people management and change management Who you are A proactive, people‑centric professional with 3–5 years of experience in HR and People operations within fast‑paced, growing organisations A proactive problem‑solver with the ability to anticipate challenges, resolve issues efficiently, and manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment A skilled communicator with the ability to build strong relationships A solution‑oriented individual with a can‑do attitude, always looking for ways to drive positive outcomes Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities, keeping a clear focus on delivering impactful results Adaptable and resilient, you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy the challenge of developing creative solutions to attract and retain top talent Our Fantastic Benefits (varies by location) 20 to 25 days of holiday to support a healthy work‑life balance Monthly team outing allowance to enjoy social events with your colleagues Office perks such as refreshments (coffee, sodas etc.), breakfast, fruit and snacks Meal card – enjoy a daily lunch allowance to make your workdays even more convenient Well‑being support – our health allowance covers gym memberships, massages, and much more to help you feel your best Additional benefits designed to enhance your work‑life experience Shape Your Role and Make an Impact Join a dynamic environment where you can take ownership, drive change, and continuously embrace new challenges.
