Senior Electrical Project Manager / Electrical Lead Location: Onsite – Portugal (10/4 Rotation) This leading contractor are seeking an Electrical Lead to join their expanding team across Europe A great opportunity to work for a market leading contractor with a fantastic reputation in the market who are experts in the delivery of mission critical projects. Responsibilities Lead a team of Electrical Engineers Proposing suitable changes to design to improve cost efficiency, ease construction programme, and to enhance specification and quality completion Display commercial astuteness Monitor construction, regarding quality of workmanship and materials Coordinate and liaise with contracts manager, site engineers and other discipline leads to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information Check and ensure understanding of drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner Establish project resource requirements and lead and motivate the project team Oversee highest quality of health and safety Requirements Bachelors’ degree in Engineering or relevant area Strong knowledge of procurement Experience in scheduling, programming, and sequencing Experience in effectively leading MEP teams is essential Experience in the delivery in Data Center MEP projects Strong communication and interpersonal skills
