Portuguese Speaking Senior Purchaser

Required skills:

• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening;
• Pro-active work attitude and willing to improve performances;
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively;
• Capable to work under (time) pressure;
• Fluent in English, both in speech and writing;
• Familiar with Microsoft office;
• Familiar with ERP systems;
• Degree in business related education;
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing related purchasing role.

Preferred skills:

• Experience in Medical or pharmaceutical company;
• Used working according to a quality management system (QMS);
• Knowledge on financials impacted by stock levels;
• Experience in setting and controlling KPIâs;
• Experience in building power BI reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing daily purchase processes to be done in time, together with 2 colleagues;
• Create purchase proposals for overseas suppliers, based on 30-40 weeks forecast schedules;
• Pro-actively work on improving purchasing procedures;
• Propose and monitor KPIâs and prepare a quarterly report to the Management Team;
• Create and maintain a good relationship with suppliers locally and worldwide.
• Looking ahead, see challenges in the future and pro-actively solve the problem before it occurs, together with related departments;
• Have a weekly meeting with all departments to solve any foreseeable challenge.
