Job Description:Part of Wealth Management APS (Application Production Support), the position handles IT Production Support on AS/400 activities. Candidate will play a major role in handling Incidents, BAU service requests, Infra Maintenance activities.Main Tasks:• Provide L1/L2 support to application, system and batch related issues on the respective AS400 [ primary] , Unix/Windows [secondary] environments used by the different domains in Wealth Management• Monitor Production batches and infra components.• Ensure batch related issues are attended and resolved on time• Escalate timely to Head of APS on possible risks, escalation matters and management issues• Adhere to Service Level objective target and roadmap.• Review and create application Support knowledge articles.• Ensuring that all production deliverables are aligned with bank standards and best practices.• Identify and propose automation wherever possible to improve system availability, productivity, and performanceTechnical Skills:• AS400 and Unix troubleshooting skills• Strong knowledge on SQL queries, data analysis• Familiar with Production support tools like ServiceNow and JIRA is a plus• Core Banking (Olympic / Transact / others)• ITIL Language Skills: • English – ExpertSoft Skills:• Strong critical thinker with problem solving approach.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Willingness to continually update and enhance skills• High level of persistence, can-do attitude & pro-activenessComplementary information:• Total 7+ years of IT experience working in IT infrastructure and application support with good mix of experience as given• At least 3+ years of support experience on AS400 technologies (DB2/400, CL/400, SQL/400, RPG & RPGLE, COBOL/400)• Good technical knowledge on AS400 Subsystem, Job Description, Job Queue, Job Logs, Journal, Objects, etc• Good knowledge of CL/400 and OS/400 commands• Knowledge on SQL/400 and other AS400 utilities• Knowledge on any Job Scheduling system• Basic understanding of BRMS (backup, recovery and media services)• Experience on AS400 RPGLE and COBOL/400 development
