Billing Execution & OperationsExecute and manage end-to-end billing cycles, including rating, invoicing, re-invoicing, and billing close activitiesMonitor and execute batch jobs and billing runs across billing platformsPerform daily validation of billing data, completeness checks, and cycle reconciliationsEnsure billing timelines are met in line with financial close calendars2. Data Reconciliation & Revenue AssuranceReconcile billing data between billing systems (e.g., Oracle) and financial systems (e.g., SAP)Identify, analyze, and resolve missing, delayed, or anomalous invoicesPerform historical billing analysis to detect revenue leakage, under-billing, or data inconsistenciesTrack and follow up on unbilled or under-billed items to ensure revenue completeness3. Systems & Master Data Management (Functional Scope)Maintain billing master data and customer billing configurationsManage functional access and user roles within SAP (basis roles) & billing applications (as per defined controls)Support configuration changes related to billing parameters, products, and rating structuresCoordinate with IT and system administrators for technical issues and system enhancements4. Financial Posting & Period Close SupportPost billing-related transactions, accruals, and adjustments in SAP or equivalent ERP systemsPrepare and validate billing activity reports for finance and management consumptionSupport month-end and quarter-end closing activities related to billing and revenue recognition5. Controls, Audit & Process ImprovementSupport internal and external audits by providing billing data, reconciliations, and documentationPerform periodic system and process health checks to ensure control effectivenessMaintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and billing documentationActively contribute to process standardization, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement programsKey InterfacesFinance & AccountingRevenue AssuranceIT / Billing Systems TeamsCustomer Operations / Service DeliveryQualifications & ExperienceEducationBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplineExperience3–6 years of experience in:Billing operationsTelecom / ICT billing environmentsFinance operations or revenue operationsExposure to enterprise billing systems and ERP platforms is essentialTechnical SkillsStrong hands-on experience with:Billing systems (Oracle Billing, custom telecom billing platforms, or equivalent)SAP Basis or equivalent ERP for postings and reconciliationsUnix / Linux environments and batch job monitoringStrong proficiency in:MS Excel and data analysisReconciliation techniques and control reportingCore CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and data accuracy orientationAbility to work under tight closing deadlinesOwnership mindset with high accountability for revenue integrityStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication with finance, IT, and operations stakeholders
