Fraud Prevention Agent with German

We are looking to fill a back office role for remote work in Portugal. This opportunity comes from a top outsourcing company that specializes in customer/technical support and content moderation. The company operates in several European countries, including Portugal. If selected, you will directly engage with the Portuguese employer.

The role of Fraud Prevention Agent involves scrutinizing online purchases for potential fraud, analyzing data to determine the validity of orders.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and addressing fraudulent activities.
  • Documenting suspicious behavior, spotting trends, and highlighting emerging issues.
  • Engaging with customers over the phone and via email to collect essential information for decision-making.
  • Managing back-office tasks efficiently.
  • Handling incoming customer calls related to follow-up requests.
  • Initiating outbound calls when necessary to clarify details with customers.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in German and Advanced English (B2 level);
  • Ability to work accurately and swiftly under time constraints.
  • Analytical skills for in-depth examination of customer data.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently and make informed decisions with little supervision.
  • Focus on achieving personal and team KPIs, emphasizing solutions over limitations.

Offer Details:

  • Full-time contract directly with the Portuguese employer.
  • Monthly salary of 1360 euros gross.
