What role will you play? Business Analyst Consultant:

  • Siemens AG is currently engaged in a complete Business Transformation programme aimed at redefining the complete IT landscape that will be needed around a new global ERP system
  • Within this transformation programme, a stream of work has for responsibility to define and build a new core platform for capturing and managing data from Siemens' entire Installed base(aka iBase) of products.
  • The new iBase data platform will need to serve multiple ecosystems (CRM, CPQ, ERP, Engieering & commissioning, Field Service Management IoT/Connectivity, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Management team for the iBase Project to:
  • Drive the requirements phase for the core iBase platform
  • Support the definition of a business &technical architecture needed to build the core iBase
  • Define and detail the requirements for a PoC aimed at validating the proposed architecture for the core iBase
  • Support the implementation of the PoC
  • Define and detail the requirements for the following construction phases of the core iBase
  • Support the implementation of the full core iBase throughout its different construction phases
  • Use information from workshops and many other sources to derive and extract to derive business and technical requirement for the iBase core platform
  • Work with business and technical architects to translate the requirements into suitable architectures
  • Work with development project teams to initiate and support the construction phases of the iBase core platform
  • Discuss and communicate progress on the definition and construction of the core iBase with senior management (both business & technical)

To make a difference, you must have:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor/Master's (or equivalent) in Computer Science Engineering
  • Wide knowledge in the business analysis field
  • Proven analytical background
  • Experience:
  • 5 years+ practicing as a business analyst in a consulting role
  • Consulting experience in large multinationals
  • Solid project management skills to own and drive subprojects
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements for new IT platforms
  • Experience in analysing data to draw businessrelevant conclusions
  • Experience with data visualization techniques and tool
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in creating effective and professional presentations
  • Managament/Communications:
  • Experience working with senior decision makers
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of English and ability to articulate concepts with clarity
  • Developed sense of ownership
  • Capacity to work independently with little supervision
  • Confidence to lead calls with remote participants in an effective manner
  • Sense of humour and resilience
