What role will you play?

  • As a Business Solution Analyst you are working as a connector between Business and IT in an international environment. With the focus to initiate and mature new projects/ demands you are facilitating new business enablers.
  • You are responsible to drive the new business ideas through the different stages: from the initial requirements capturing in analysis phase, through the business case and proof of concept, through vendor evaluation and alignments with implementation teams, up until demand approval and handover to implementation teams.
  • You have a passion to understand and translate business needs into IT requirements.
  • You enjoy elaborating business value and benefits together with your business partners and like presenting the team's results in front of middle management.
  • You are knowledgeable about business processes in the area of project execution and service delivery.
  • You are contributing and many times driving the IT portfolio management with a strategic view.
  • You like managing expectations and creating winwinsituations when aligning with your stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing & collection of new ideas
  • Evaluating business enablers/ business requirements
  • Maturing new requirements jointly with our business & IT experts
  • Follow up continuously with stakeholders and contributors
  • Track and document the progress of the evaluations
  • Elaborate and present business cases jointly with your business partners in front of middle management
  • Guide and coordinate the activities of the demand management team (about 45 people)
  • Communicate and promote the demand management concept (act as ambassador)
  • Continuously improve and evolve the demand management concept further
  • Handover of approved projects/ demands to implementation teams
  • Foster and grow the relationship between business stakeholders and IT (act as representative of our IT value center)

We are looking for:

  • 5+ years working experience in the area of project management on business or IT side
  • Hybrid studies like Business Informatics or Industrial Engineering or a background as a consultant could be an advantage
  • International working experience is an advantage
  • Business fluent in English is mandatory
