Private equity funds have long been one of the most attractive investment opportunities, outperforming public market benchmarks, like the S&P 500.

But these funds have also been difficult or impossible to access, especially for individuals. Onerous paperwork, high investment minimums (~€10m) and difficulty picking a fund have all been hurdles that kept individuals out. Access has always been dominated by institutions or a select few. Enter Moonfare.


Moonfare is revolutionising access to private equity using a fully digital platform that provides qualified investors access to selectively vetted top-performing funds within 15 minutes and at minimums as low as €50,000.

Moonfare provides investors with innovative reporting and the potential to trade their stakes in funds using our Secondary Market.

Technical Operations Specialist (M/F/d)


As a member of the Product Operations team, you will be the vital link between Product and Engineering, making sure that our systems are always live and working efficiently.

You will bring technical expertise from a system monitoring perspective and will know our Product and features inside out.

You will be aiding our world-class engineering function at Moonfare from an incident management perspective and as a consequence will increase their output and business efficiency.


You will:

  • Collaborate with the team by being a product point of contact for product initiatives, streamlining critical routine tasks, ensuring strong collaboration and communication across the organization
  • Support and drive standardization of product documentation across all domains while improving/documenting internal processes within Product Operations
  • Become an expert on our tools, driving and improving the bug board, resolution, monitoring tools, and triaging process for incidents
  • Act as a strategic partner to Product/Engineering leadership teams and Operational stakeholders to shape and execute product goals
  • Work with relevant teams to deliver a stable, resilient system with innovative alerting and monitoring, and forwardthinking capacity planning built into the design.
  • Troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong analysis background with the ability to analyze data in support of proposed projects, business cases, and system requirements.
  • Proactively find areas for improvements backed up by data and share the insights with the product leaders to explore new opportunities and increase team/product performance
  • Strengthen the product feedback loop and improve customer experience by working closely with the customer success team and relay important information to the product team
  • Track success metrics across Product Operations and the organization

The next Moonfarian:

  • 2 years+ experience in tech operations, product support, system administration, or system monitoring
  • A passion to build a great product & be successful with that product in the market
  • A datadriven, analytical mindset and skill set with strong project management skills
  • Experience in monitoring tools like Newrelic, instana, or other monitoring tools
  • 2+ years experience in Jira, Kanban, and Agile methodologies and experience with leading teams in these areas
  • Experience working closely with an engineering team
  • Be a forwardthinker through evaluating new technologies, contributing to different teams and meetings along with advocating the creation of technical documentation to encourage and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and performing root cause analysis independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong analysis background with the ability to analyze data in support of proposed projects, business cases, and system requirements.
  • Great communicator with excellent English language skills, able to get ideas across effectively, and persuasively across a diverse set of stakeholders such as Engineers, Project Managers, Sales, and Customer Success, supporting and providing technical guidance where required.
  • Proactive with a problemsolving mindset to help solve business problems.
  • Strong prioritization skills
  • Calm and composed when working under pressure
