All new product development is done here through our Portugal facility while volume manufacturing will be out of both the Portugal and US manufacturing facilities.

About the Role


As the Project Manager, you will be working closely with the company owner, and you will be responsible for all driving projects to completion.

You will schedule, plan, forecast, align resources, and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and with high quality.

Projects typically run from conception through prototyping to pre-production (30+ units typically), with various phases and milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects.
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
  • Perform overall quality control of the project (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance on the project) and report regularly on project status.
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
  • Work closely with other departments for product updates, field, or assembly issues etc.

Skills and Experience

  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written is a must.
  • Project management and supervision skills.
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills.
  • Time management and organization skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
  • Experience in using Autodesk "Inventor" 3D design software is preferred, with experience in Solidworks also an advantage.
  • Experience in designing machinery (electromechanical) a basic minimum requirement with experience in mechanical drive assemblies, control units, gearboxes, electric motors, controllers, battery technologies and injection molded and/or die cast aluminum parts a distinct advantage.
