You will be part of WTW's Integrated and Global Solutions (IGS) team and based in our Lisbon Hub.

The IGS team is dedicated to serving the needs of the headquarters of its multinational clients.

Operating in the global market place means multinational companies face a variety of different business, cultural, language and regulatory environments.

IGS colleagues get involved in four key areas as follows:

multi-country coordination and project management; strategic advice around the management of employee benefits; technical expertise on global risk management; supporting global reach.


The Lisbon Service Centre is a Willis Towers Watson hub of excellence that supports WTW's consulting operations in the UK, Ireland, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy and Spain.

Working in close partnership over the last 12 years with consulting teams, software developers and actuarial specialists, the Lisbon Service Centre has grown into a 155 -colleague operation through strong commitment to operational excellence, value creation, client focus, integrity and respect.


The Role

  • Provide data analytics, draft reports and presentations, update project trackers and work with Global Benefits Center (GBC) colleagues, as well as the local country consultants and brokers, to obtain status updates.
  • Manage clients' benefits data which includes working with the GBC to populate data and being responsible that data is accurate and updated on a timely basis. Facilitate and project manage initial technology and implementation tasks upon project start up.
  • Effectively manage projects using established project management tracker and technology to deliver a successful project across all countries.
  • Support the use of Willis Towers Watson's proprietary technology including Benefits Insights, Benefits Data Source, BenVals and other tools to help clients to maximize the value from the information collected,
  • Coordinate and project manage multicountry projects such as: global benefit benchmarking exercises, cost savings projects and governance processes.
  • Help the global consulting lead to provide proactive advice around the opportunities to optimize the way benefits are managed globally (effective use of local resources, brokers, consultants, third party providers).
  • Work with the global consultant lead to deliver advice to multinational clients about the financing of their risk benefit programs, such as selfinsurance, multinational risk benefits pooling and employee benefit captive work for feasibility study, negotiation, selection, implementation and ongoing support.
  • Work with relevant parties (including local WTW teams and Correspondent Partners as necessary) to ensure local brokerofrecord letters (or similar) and statements of work are in place.
  • Engage in dialogue with incountry consultants/brokers as needed, to ensure local issues are resolved.
  • Participate in regular (as necessary) calls both internally and with the client to communicate progress and resolve outstanding matters.
  • Review local broker reports and other communications to ensure consistency of style and message, as appropriate.
  • Keep abreast of changes in legislation, market practice or otherwise, to identify issues that clients should be addressing.

The essential experience for this role is:

  • University Degree
  • Proficiency in English
  • Proficiency in German and/or French
  • The ability to use Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data, as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills
  • Well organized and attentiontodetail with ability to prioritize conflicting work schedules
  • Hands on experience with employee benefits or insurance market (is a plus)
  • Interest in international benefits
  • Enjoys delivering complex solutions to internal and external Clients, while delivering proactively on time and on budget
Availability to travel as required.
