As a Quality Commercial Manager at Boehringer Ingelheim, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent high quality of Animal Health and Human Pharma products, in full compliance with cGMP/cGDP, local regulations, and BI Corporate requirements.

You will play a vital role in maintaining our commitment to quality and delivering exceptional products to our customers in Portugal.

You will be working at our office in Lisbon while reporting directly to the General Manager.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement and maintain the local Quality Management System and Quality Manual in alignment with the global and regional Quality Manuals.
  • Assure the supply of consistently highquality, compliant Animal Health and Human Pharma products.
  • Act as QP (Qualified Person) for AH imported products.
  • Act as the deputy of GDP Technical Directors for Human Pharma and Animal Health businesses.
  • Assess compliance of the Supplier's activities and Quality Management System to applicable regulations and standards.
  • Ensure proper qualification and maintenance of local suppliers as per cGMP/cGDP.
  • Ensure adequate Health Authorities inspection readiness and management; conduct GMP/GDP selfinspections.
  • Manage local training programs covering GMP and GDP tasks.
  • Manage the local Quality Management System, including deviations, CAPAs, product complaints, and recalls.
  • Act as Local Pharmaceutical Complaint Officer and ensure proper handling of:
  • Technical Product compliants.
  • Quality Issues and Market actions including product recalls.
  • Perform regular Quality Management Reviews with the Local Leadership Team.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a lead quality position within a pharmaceutical company.
  • You are a member of the Pharmacists Association (Ordem dos Farmacêuticos).
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
  • Deep regulatory knowledge in GDP and GMP.
  • You are a team player with a positive mindset who enjoys working in a diverse environment and can develop strong crossfunctional relationships.
  • You possess structured, excellent decisionmaking and prioritization skills.
  • Outstanding problemsolving and analytical thinking skills.
