- you make it happen-
You oversee our main business model: You will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the financial tools which are used today to capture SBM's main business model, being the construction and subsequent lease and operate of FPSOs;

You connect all the dots: You are the link with the internal stakeholders to gather and challenge data.
In this role you will liaise closely with:
- the project and operations cost control teams to understand project progress and performance;
- the commercial team for new and prospect projects;
- the accounting team to ensure the contract elements and commercial developments are timely and correctly accounted for;
- the reporting team to ensure the consolidated data is translated into meaningful business language; and
- various other stakeholders such as our tax or treasury department for the relevant project impacts.

You are always curious: You are strongly driven by curiosity and always eager to learn. You are proactive to develop your knowledge in all disciplines and therefore able to explain all relevant elements - ranging anywhere from accounting principles to legal or financing structures - to the stakeholders;

You have an eye for details but also the helicopter view: You are not afraid to drill down into details - such as dissecting a complex contractual setup - but without losing the understanding of what it means in the big picture and also able to present information to management in such a way.
- In this role, you will be part of the Corporate Forecast to Control team working in close relation with the Group consolidation team as well as the SBM pillars Forecast to Control teams, and mainly deals with the preparation and presentation of internal and external financial reporting. Within the team you will report to the Corporate Forecast to Control Manager. you offer
- You have a relevant postgraduation degree in finance / accounting (i.e. ACCA, RA or equivalent) and at least 5 years of work experience in an international audit firm and/or a similar corporate position. With your degree, work experience and expert level financial analysis skills, you are highly qualified and enthusiastic to take on this role at SBM Offshore. Do you have experience working in both a big international audit firm and a corporate finance position? That is a distinct bonus. You are able to work under pressure and meet deadlines and are capable of managing change in an international environment. With your good interpersonal and communication skills, and a high level of English (both written and verbal), you will be successful in our fastpaced environment.
