25 Maio. 2023Champalimaud Foundation (Fundação D. Anna de Sommer Champalimaud e Dr. Carlos Montez Champalimaud), a private, non-profit research institution in Lisbon, Portugal, is looking for a Research Technician or Master student to join our team at the Champalimaud Research Programme.


Perform behavioural and functional imaging experiments with zebrafish larvae and fruit flies in a project that aims to elucidate how these animals escape predation.

Skills/Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience or other related scientific areas.

Essential skills

  • Basic experience in working in a research laboratory;
  • Beginner level at Programming in Matlab;
  • Excellent level of English.
Desirable skills that will also be considered

  • Experience in working with fruit files or zebrafish;
  • FELASA animal course;
  • Experience in doing behavioural or neural imaging experiments;
  • Classes in Neuroscience.
