Overview of the Role


The FP&A team partners across the business to support the continued scaling of the business to make this mission a reality.

As PagerDuty expands its product platform and geographic footprint, we are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst who will help drive the Company's day-to-day financial planning and analysis activities, business transaction support, monthly reporting, and decision support.

The Senior Analyst will gain invaluable experience in a position which offers significant responsibility and interaction with management as well as have an opportunity to impact decisions in Pagerduty's expense management across all functions

Responsibilities

  • Primary liaison with Accounting to perform monthly close activities including purchase order and invoice accruals and reclasses
  • Generate monthly budget vs. actual reports and attend reviews with Business Leaders
  • Participate in the preparation and review of annual budgets and rolling 8quarter forecasts to provide visibility into the business and establish financial guidance.
  • Develop, analyze, and interpret financial and operating results and information; improve forecast accuracy and visibility.
  • Serve as key business partner and contributor to growth strategies, tactics, mid and longrange planning.
  • Support the financial evaluation and implications of potential new products, operating models, contracts, marketing programs and technology solutions.
  • Perform adhoc projects and financial analysis and presentations for executive management and the Board of Directors.
  • Provide support for evaluating investment decisions, such as ROI and analytical tools to ensure decisions are made in alignment with the creation of shareholder value

Skills You'll Need To Bring

  • 35 years of experience in FP&A or accounting in a growth environment, public accounting, consulting, or investment banking
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent
  • Advanced Excel; knowledge of Netsuite and FP&A systems (Anaplan) a plus
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, with great attention to detail
  • Indepth experience with financial statement analysis and a strong understanding of corporate finance and accounting concepts
  • Ability to operate independently and prioritize effectively to work in a fastpaced environment without compromising high standards of quality
