Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Procurement Business Partner to join our growing procurement community. You will establish and enhance procurement processes across the EMEA region. You will conduct market discovery, review existing procurement practices, identify risks, and implement strategies to improve commercial outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the procurement landscape in a diverse and dynamic region.

Market Discovery and Analysis:

Conduct market analysis in regions with undeveloped procurement functions. Use Spend Cube, local AP data and legal team to gain understanding of market level spend profile to inform priority focus areas and strategy planning. Develop a comprehensive understanding of local market dynamics, stakeholders, regulatory requirements, and cultural nuances.

Process Review and Improvement:

Assess current procurement processes across EMEA markets. Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and areas of risk in the existing procurement framework. Develop and implement standardized procurement procedures and best practices to refine operations.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with Procurement Operations team. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across the EMEA region. In collaboration with local finance teams, ensure compliance to the company.

Commercial Optimization:

Identify priority opportunities for commercial negotiation of supplier contracts. Collaborate with global procurement team and other market teams to share best practice, and identify opportunities for spend consolidation and use global frameworks. Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with suppliers to improve cost efficiency. Develop and implement strategies to enhance value from supplier relationships. Monitor and report on key performance indicators to measure the impact of procurement plans. Run RFx and sourcing exercises for high-value, high-risk projects (with and without e-sourcing tools) and incorporating requirements from Legal and Data Privacy, Security Assurance, Vendor Due Diligence, and other internal SME teams.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work with global procurement team to align regional strategies with our goals. Engage with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement priorities. Foster relationships with suppliers, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.

Continuous Improvement and Sustainability Plans:

Involvement in developing continuous improvement plans. Work with the Sustainable Procurement Manager to develop plans and engage with suppliers on sustainability issues.

You will report to the Head of Procurement.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years Procurement experience within EMEA region. Experience managing procurement processes and supplier relationships. Experience with regulatory requirements across EMEA. Proficiency in multiple languages, Spanish, German and/or Italian (preferred). Good level of English (mandatory). Sound knowledge of contractual law principles. Ability to prioritize different tasks in order of business criticality, while still driving progress and maintaining communication with stakeholders on all engagements. CIPS or MCIPS qualifications (or working towards), or training in contract law is a plus. Degree-level educated. Experience with multi-market operations is a plus.
