Accounting & Controlling Specialist who can
-
prepare various financial reports, income statements, and fluctuation analysis for our management and internal/external auditors. You love to give feedback in time regarding accounting and reporting matters, they have no secrets for you. You have experience with assisting in tax-related matters, and aslo with preparation of tax returns. You're able to handle the financial budgeting, forecasting, planning, and analysis as well as internal and Support Function controlling process. You will be a part of the financial team in Portugal.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • You will work in direct collaboration with the Managing Director Finance.
  • You will be in control of the local accounting and become the first contact person towards authorities, internal central departments over Yunex global locations (UK, Czech Republic, Germany) for many corporate topics like HR (payroll bookings & provisions), pensions, taxes, insurances, real estate and treasury.
  • You will assist in the monthend and yearend closing processes by reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and generating reports.
  • You will prepare various financial reports including balance sheets, income statements, and fluctuation analysis for management and internal/external auditors.
  • You will provide timely feedback to internal and external queries regarding accounting and reporting matters.
  • You will assist in taxrelated matters, including preparation of tax returns, documentation, and liaising with tax authorities as required.
  • You will be responsible for the financial budgeting, forecasting, planning, and analysis as well as internal and Support Function controlling process.

In addition you have:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting, Economics, Finance or related field
  • 45 years proven experience in accounting, controlling or finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards both in IFRS and SNC is required.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English
  • Willingness to know and understand the story "behind the figures."
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and data entry
  • SAP and MS Office tools experience are required.
  • Certified Accountant by OCC is a plus.
  • Team oriented, flexibility and ability to work under pressure, in a challenging environment.
