THE POSITION

We're establishing a beloved brand in Europe, and this is where your adventure kicks off.

As Barkyn's Warehouse and Carrier Manager, your responsibility is to ensure prompt deliveries and efficient warehouse operations, managing relationships with carriers, optimizing warehouse processes, and instigating continuous improvement efforts.

Specifically, your tasks include:
  • Creating and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations.
  • Analyzing operational data to pinpoint areas for enhancement and implementing effective solutions.
  • Guiding and inspiring the warehouse team to reach performance targets and goals.
  • Establishing and nurturing strategic ties with transportation providers and logistics service vendors.
  • Negotiating contract terms, rates, and service agreements to guarantee operational effectiveness and service excellence.
  • Assessing carrier performance and applying corrective actions when needed.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in logistics management, particularly in a complex supply chain setting.
  • Robust negotiation capabilities and knack for forging strong partnerships with suppliers and carriers.
  • Outstanding analytical abilities and proficiency in interpreting data for informed decision-making.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and talent in motivating and fostering cross-functional teams.
