Customer Payments Europe Team Leader (M/F):

About the role

You will join our global unit, GBS Customer Administration Services, responsible for processing customer payments and cash allocation throughout the Essity organization.

As the Customer Payments Team Leader, you will lead a team of 9 members, ensuring the smooth execution of our global cash allocation and automated services across Europe.

What You Will Do:

  • Oversee daily cash allocation and automation activities, and ensure tasks are well distributed and completed in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular onetoone meetings, provide coaching and mentorship, and integrate new team members.
  • Support team members' development plans and performance reviews.
  • Regularly monitor and report on key performance indicators.
  • Secure close cooperation between different organizational units across the matrix organization.
  • Support external and internal financial audits and assist in resolving audit findings.
  • Actively participate in the development of automation, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.

Who You Are:

  • Background in Finance, with experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, or Cash Allocation is an advantage.
  • A first experience with leading a team is highly desirable.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills are essential.
  • Leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Experience working in different markets and a multicultural environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A caring attitude towards the team, good listener, willing to help, and committed to fostering a positive team environment.
  • Fluency in English is required.
