BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for "dynamic, results driven" individual to join as Maintenance Supervisor at our new production plant in Viana, Portugal.

This position will report to Operations Manager.

Key Accountabilities

  • Plan department work to maintain production capacity and execute production plans
  • Create schedules and ensure timely execution of maintenance, inspections and repairs of machinery and equipment.
  • Managing maintenance KPIs (BDR, MTTR, MTBF, resourcing utilization, etc)
  • Ability to create maintenance procedure, risk analysis, turtle diagram
  • Budget supervision, cost optimization, planning purchases of fixed assets, tools, spare parts and technical materials.
  • Manage maintenance team
  • Lead and participate in problem solving activities
  • Comply with environmental, health and safety, quality and productivity standards
  • Comply with the organization's rules and internal regulations: Code of Ethics, Practice and Schedule
  • Respect workplace safety and cleanliness rules
  • Respect and comply with environmental policy rules
  • Perform other tasks not included in the activity for which he was hired, when the needs or convenience of the service justify it, for the period necessary for the said needs or conveniences of service
Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in mechanics, electromechanics, electronic or similar
  • Previous experience in leadership role in industry environment
  • Knowledge of automotive industry standards
