About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Emma and our Global Procurement team. You will be responsible for key projects and will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing procurement strategies.

You will engage in a variety of tasks, from leading negotiations to analyzing market trends, ensuring each day is dynamic and impactful.

You will hold a crucial position in Emma's growth strategy, influencing expansion plans in both current and new markets. \uD83D\uDE80

What you'll do:

  • Create Global Impact: In your role within the global Strategic Procurement team, you contribute significantly to Emma's worldwide supply chain growth, actively managing relationships with suppliers across the globe.
  • Strategic Cost Management: You lead substantial cost reduction projects, orchestrating multimilliondollar price negotiations with key Business Partners to optimize financial efficiency.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Implementing costsaving strategies is your key strength. You leverage a strong business sense and entrepreneurial mindset to identify and capitalize on opportunities within the supply chain.
  • Supplier Expertise: Your focus includes developing indepth knowledge of suppliers, understanding cost drivers per category, and staying abreast of sourcing markets and industry trends to ensure Emma sources at the most competitive prices.
  • Risk Mitigation: You lead supply chain risk assessments, minimizing the impact of unforeseen events. You develop and communicate risk management techniques to enhance Emma's resilience in the face of challenges.
  • Strategic Sourcing: You analyse and explore new sourcing regions, continuously identifying and developing relationships with strategic suppliers to optimize Emma's supplier network.
  • Collaborative Leadership: You drive strategic vendor development through close collaboration, identifying and leveraging valueadding opportunities. Actively participating in product life cycle decisions, you collaborate with internal stakeholders for successful product launches and transitions.

  • You love negotiating and are intrinsically motivated to strive for the best.

  • As an excellent communicator, you easily manage various stakeholders (external and Senior level).
  • You are a team player and have excellent English skills (further foreign language skills are an advantage e.g., Chinese).
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are willing to "roll up your sleeves." Someone who can keep a holistic overview can structure complex problems and link crossteam business implications.
