Join Us as a DevOps Engineer at Finoa

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to be part of our Platform Engineering team at Finoa.

The Platform team is focused on two main areas: custody and staking. Our technology stack includes OpenStack, AWS, Kubernetes, C/C++, Go, and Postgres. Your responsibilities will involve building, securing, and managing our blockchain infrastructure in the cloud and on-premises, while expanding our self-service delivery platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Provision and maintain AWS and on-prem infrastructure for crypto custody
  • Set up and manage Gitlab CI/CD pipelines for code deployments and testing
  • Implement strong security measures, encryption, access controls, and ensure compliance
  • Develop and maintain automation tools for infrastructure management
  • Implement monitoring and alerting solutions
  • Optimize infrastructure and application performance for scalability and cost-efficiency
  • Establish efficient backup and disaster recovery procedures
  • Collaborate with development teams to enhance the delivery process
  • Maintain detailed infrastructure documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for critical incident response
  • Assist in regulatory compliance audits
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams within the web3 movement
  • Work closely with security engineering teams to ensure a trusted platform for customers and web3 protocols
Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in AWS and services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols
  • Experience with Docker containers and container security
  • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, especially in Gitlab
  • Good knowledge of crypto asset security, encryption, access controls, and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Ansible
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and log management systems like the ELK stack
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive implementations effectively
  • Excellent communication skills
