We are looking for a Program Manager to join our team and help us manage complex projects from ideation through to delivery.

This person will be responsible for developing and owning project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation, managing changes to project scope, plan and costs, and measuring project performance.

They will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes in line with the plan.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and own project plans including significant milestones and deliverables ensuring resource availability and allocation.
  • Provide governance across the portfolio on all squad deliverables both project and nonproject based.
  • Effectively plan and manage complex projects from ideation through to delivery.
  • Communicate portfolio status, milestones, and deliverables to project stakeholders, distilling complexity into simple and concise updates.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project plan, and project costs using the appropriate project management approach.
  • Measure project performance and take actions when deviations are identified during the project; reporting and escalating as needed.
  • Actively manage risks through a transparent communication style and a promotion of trust and competency.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Partner with crossfunctional teams within P&T and the wider business to contribute to projects and deliver quality outcomes in line with the plan.
  • Support and contribute to the project intake process from ideation through to planning and delivery.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with your colleagues.
  • Identify inefficiencies in the intake and project management processes and make and implement recommendations for changes.
  • Maintain the internal project management tool.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of program management experience is essential.
  • Strong project management skills required with project management qualification preferred.
  • Selfstarter, intellectually curious, and creative with experience operating in ambiguity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate and influence at multiple levels within an organisation, build trust and strong relationships with key stakeholders and their teams.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to a broad range of technical and nontechnical staff.
  • Proven organisational skills, with attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Analytical and problemsolving capabilities.
