A Snapshot of Your Day
The Head of Tax Siemens Energy Portugal is thefirst point of contact for tax related matters in Portugal. You will support businessunits, local finance management and other support functions in every taxrelated aspect.

You will work as an integral part of a tax team within one ofthe most interesting subregions in Europe on a variety of challenging topics inthe field of Portuguese and international tax law.

Among other things, you willhave technical responsibility for tax compliance, tax reporting & taxaudits, advise on international project business and transfer pricing, and supportM&A and reorganizations.


How You'll Make an Impact (responsibilities)**- Review and/or preparationand filing of all Portuguese tax returns

  • Coordination oftax topics in Mozambique (branch)
  • Coordinate taxaudits and tax administration and tax litigation processes
  • Comprehensive taxanalysis of the company's local and international business projects andtransactions
  • Close cooperationwith the company's business units for the evaluation and mitigation of taxrisks with active participation in the design and structuring of businessprojects and transactions
  • Tax support in thecompany's M&A transactions
  • Tax closing & reporting
  • Advise in transferpricing matters and support in the preparation of related documentation

What You Bring (requirements
)

  • University degreein Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Specific academicbackground (or postgraduate studies) in Tax will be a plus
  • At least 10 yearsof professional experience in tax compliance and tax advisory roles
  • Certifiedaccountant registered with OCC in Portugal will be a plus
  • Strong communicationand interpersonal skills
  • Fluent English (writtenand spoken)
